Larry’s Story
Larry is a 65-year-old Army veteran who lost a leg due to a drunk driver and then suffered a stroke. Despite his disabilities preventing him from working, his wife works, and they have always paid their bills on time.
However, their situation worsened when their car needed major repairs and their rent increased significantly. They fell behind on rent payments and sought assistance from a local rent relief program but received no response after two months. Thankfully, he called 211.
